For 2010, the Forte replaces the aging Spectra in Kia's line-up.
The Forte is a mid-size 4-door sedan featuring Kia's new distinctive family look. It is available in three trims; LX, EX and SX. The LX and EX trims both feature a 156-hp 2.0L four-cylinder and a standard 5-speed manual, or optional 4-speed automatic transmission. The SX features a 173-hp 2.4L four-cylinder and a standard 6-speed manual, or optional 5-speed automatic transmission. The Forte comes nicely equipped with standard items such as; traction control, stability control, side and side curtain airbags, anti-lock brakes with brake assist, Bluetooth and a tire pressure monitoring system. Automatic climate control, leather seats, power sunroof, heated seats and a trip computer are all available depending on trim.
